Our Process:
Projects start with a client and builder consultation to discuss the entire project
and process. Once the consultation is completed our team goes to work preparing
prints, wiring diagrams, product specifications, and design plans. Once all
plans and designs are completed, we begin the structured wiring process. This
involves installing all the wiring and cabling necessary for the system. This
includes speaker wiring, cat5 or cat6 for data, cable, satellite, telephone,
fiber optics, HDTV cables, system control wiring and more. Once the site is
ready, we begin installing components such as ceiling speakers, volume controllers
and keypads, and complete any wire termination including connections in the
structured wire panel. The final installation includes hanging televisions,
installing receivers and components and programming. Once completed, we take
time to educate the customer on how to operate the system and setup a service
and support plan.
Case Studies:
How our process has helped these companies and clients.
Case Study: Dos Lagos HOA - Since the home owners association at this Boynton
Beach Community installed a digital surveillance system at their guard
house, residents have seen the system catch dozens of incidents. The community
has recovered a significant amount of money from vendors, visitors and
homeowners that have damaged the gate system including knocking down the
key pad entry system, breaking gate arms, and damaging the bar code scanner.
This system has also helped local authorities solve crimes including a
shooting incident that occurred involving a car jacking victim and also
provided crucial evidence in a case that involved a traffic death as a
result of speeding. The system consists of 4 surveillance camera of both
the inbound and outbound lanes of the community’s entrance. These cameras
are equipped with night vision and special lenses that allow the community
to identify license plates. The digital video recorder stores about 6 weeks
of data which can be viewed online and archived for future viewing.
Case Study – IC Realtime DVR Automation -
During a training session at one of our CCTV manufactures facility, the question came up on how could one go about integrating IC Realtime’s digital video recorder (DVR) with today’s home automation systems.
Several weeks later, Complete Audio & Electronics, Inc. had created the solution. The solution utilized an RTI wireless touch panel remote control incorporating all the DVR functions. The user can stream live camera feeds directly to the color LCD on the remote control or use the remote to view these feeds on a television. They created customized maps of the customer’s home or business that allowed the user to simply touch the room they wanted to view the security camera. They also allowed the user complete control of pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) cameras via the remote from anywhere in their home or business. This solution brought a new level of control to the CCTV market and IC Realtime continues to market this solution to other dealers and consumer.
Case Study - Oxbow Corporation Cellular Repeater System
Technology today is full of toys and gadgets and most play a important roll in everyday business transactions. I do not think I know a single business person who does not have a cellular telephone and relies on it countless times for making important decisions. The most frustrating thing is when that source of communication fails because of reception problems.
Overcoming such a problem was a big concern for the IT manager at Oxbow Corporation. They had searched for a solution that could handle hundreds of employees that scaled across 4 floors in their 15 story office building. Once presented with the opportunity, Complete Audio & Electronics went to work with the cellular repeater system engineers, designing a system to accommodate the company.
The system consisted of several components including multiple directional roof-top antennas, a large facility amplifier and several repeater pods throughout each floor of the office. Once completed, employees could receive better reception inside the building then outside on the roof. The system provided over 40,000 square feet of coverage for multiple cellular carriers. Once activated, you could hear the voice mail tones throughout the office as phones went from very poor or no service at all to full signal strength. The IT manager could not be more satisfied with the results of the project.
Case Study – Service Beyond the “Big Box” stores - Quite often customers call upon Complete Audio & Electronics to complete or repair installations that have been attempted by the large retailer. This was certainly the case when a West Boca Raton resident contacted them to complete a simple television installation. The customer had made their purchase at a local “big box” retailer and purchased installation service for the LCD television. He also paid a service fee for the sales representative to come to his house for a consultation, in which he was informed that the installation could be done without any problems. Several days later the installation team came to perform the job, the “team,” consisted of a single person with little wiring knowledge and improper tools to complete the installation. In the process of attempting to complete the installation, there was damage that was done to the electrical wiring inside the walls, which required a costly visit from an electrician to repair. Frustrated, the home owner asked the installer to leave and then decides to have Complete Audio & Electronics perform the installation. With the proper tools and knowledge of wiring practices, the installation was complete in very little time without any problems
Case Study: Burglary of Complete Audio & Electronics - December 31, 2006
On December 31st 2006 our store was burglarized and the
entire crime was caught on multiple cameras throughout the store. Once the foo tage was aired on the local news channels, a state prosecutor recognized the suspects as part of a group that has been involved in a series of burglaries through the state. This prompted investigators from the state level to get involved in our case stating, “This is the best video footage we have of theses suspects yet.” Using th e video evidence, authorities have continued to pursue this group and prosecute the individuals involved.
